There are many lesser gods and other divine beings in Egypt’s pantheon. When the war for humanity’s devotion broke out, these lesser beings sought allies among their far-stronger divine brethren. Now, they offer their services to the one they hope will be the last god standing when Egypt becomes monotheistic. The Guardians expansion for Ankh gives players five unique guardians they can use to expand their games. Each one has its own unique powers that players would certainly want to wield and not have wielded against them. Ammit, Am-heh, Pazuzu, Shezmu, and Mafdet are all willing to put their strength behind whomever will be able to survive the war that ends with only one god still standing.
THIS IS AN EXPANSION FOR ANKH GODS OF EGYPT (BASE): This is not a standalone experience. An Ankh Gods of Egypt core box is needed to enjoy this expansion. This expansion supports the gods contained in the Pantheon expansion.
THE WAR OF THE GODS CONTINUES: While all gods possess power beyond that of mortals, the lesser gods and demons know their place and divined that their survival will hinge on levying favor with one patron that would dominate the cosmos when all was done. For the deities that grant them succor, these Guardians ply their talents in their patron’s names, adding to their grandeur and protecting their devoted followers as their own.
NEW GAME MECHANICS: The introduction of new Guardians gives new options to select from, increasing the possibilities for different combinations and interactions for each game. The mere presence or absence of each Guardian will shape the landscape of your games.
GUARDIANS EXPANSION: This expansion introduces a new set of Guardians ready to join the gods in their quest. Most of these guardians are terrible demons with vicious abilities the gods would much rather have at their side than use against them.
